AOL (Afghans of Love)

Do you like to knit or crochet?  This is the ministry for you.  Afghans and pray shawls and blankets are given to those who need a reminder that they are loved by God. 

Wood Ministry

The mission of the Wood Ministry is to provide firewood to the needy in west Hanover County who heat their homes and/or cook with wood.  The team cuts, splits and delivers wood in the area.  No experience, truck or tools necessary. Let us know if you would like to be on their email list of work dates and times.

 WHEAT (Western Hanover Emergency Action Team)

We collect food items for the Western Hanover food pantry.  There are drop off boxes in the Narthex’s of each church.  Want to do more? Come and volunteer at the food pantry on the second and fourth Tuesday from 4-7pm at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church.

Choir

Can you sing, or do you like to make a joyful noise?  Join the Choir. The Beaverdam choir practices every Wednesday night at 7pm. 

Building Maintenance Team

Do you enjoy home projects?  This is the ministry for you.  There is always some project to be tackled.  We take care of the Church buildings and grounds.
